FINALLY AFTER years of asking and looking for a venue the answer was right under my nose in my home town of Keynsham.
Keynsham Rugby Club has over 23 acres of pitches and can hold 130k people. There is plenty of surrounding land for camping etc as well pubs, restaurants, shops and a great park.
Bristol and Bath are easy cycling distance via a very safe cycle track or travel by rail or bus. We hope to have fans trickle into the camping areas using mainly public transport. If you are driving we know plenty of farmers who will have safe parking in nearby fields where shuttle buses can carry you and your tents to the camping sites.
We have a balloon launching field so weather permitting, balloon trips could be available during the week-long, world-changing event of www.futureaidnow.com
The by-pass which runs along the edge of the www.futureaidnow.com
arena is where my love of music began. My cousin Dave took me on his Kawasaki Z1000, and then we listened to Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Stones, Sabbath and many more. I was about 10 or 11 and that was it, Music was king.
My cousin sadly passed away at 48 with cancer and it was a few days before I last saw him that I felt I had to at least really try and get www.futureaidnow.com
off the ground, as it would be a great testimonial for him.
The following day after I last saw him I drove to London and managed to give all of the www.futureaidnow.com
details to one of the worlds biggest rock legends of our time. That was over ten years ago.
The UK venue for www.futureaidnow.com
is a hub for a global event where every other country around the world can hold their own events on the same weekend. The world really needs a positive boost after the Covid hit, and with ideas which can lower sea levels, stabilise the Gulf Stream and take palm oil production out of rainforests, it should do the trick.
We want to ensure that all jobs are safeguarded in areas where palm oil is grown, so that all workers are treated fairly and squarely.
COVID PERMITTING - GET THE JAB - PLEASE.
